Your Data, Your Control
We believe you should have clear control over your child's Calmemo journal. You can delete your data at any time directly through the app you use to log it.
How to delete your data
- Open your chat with Chester from Calmemo in Telegram or WhatsApp.
- Tell Chester "delete my data."
- Follow the prompts to confirm whether you want to remove yourself as a caregiver or permanently erase all child profiles and health events associated with your account.
Once confirmed, your profile, messaging delivery endpoint, children, health events, appointments, medications, caregiver access records, pending notifications, secure-report records, feedback, and related live journal records are permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
We keep only narrow records that do not contain child or health information: limited billing records we are legally required to keep for tax and audit purposes (such as Stripe payment identifiers and amounts), and a minimal one-way hashed account-eligibility record used to prevent duplicate free trials and manage payment status. These records are kept separately and automatically deleted on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
Encrypted disaster-recovery copies may contain deleted records for up to 35 days before automatic expiry. They are access-restricted and used only to recover the service after a serious failure.
