Privacy isn't a feature here.
It's the whole point.
Most child-health and tracking apps quietly monetize your family's data. Calmemo doesn't.
0 emails.
0 passwords.
1 familiar messenger.
Telegram uses a chat ID. If you choose WhatsApp, your number is encrypted as a separate delivery endpoint — never placed in the journal.
Not who you are
Your journal is keyed to a pseudonymous chat ID — not your identity.
You choose where it lives
Canada or the US, decided before you start — never guessed from your IP.
Gone when you say so
Never sold. Never used to train AI. Deleted the moment you tell Chester to.
The Caregiver Circle
Dad, Mom, a support worker, Aunty — everyone updates the same log, in their own words. No more "did they eat yet?" texts. At shift change, just say "send a handover" and Chester sends the whole circle a clear 12-hour digest. Read more on sharing child health updates with another parent and what to tell the next caregiver at shift handover.
Three caregivers, one shared timeline.
Simple, honest pricing
CA$5 in Canada · US$5 in the United States, plus applicable tax
- One price for your whole household — not per child or caregiver

- We always show the total first — no surprise bills
We keep it this low on purpose — a private place for your child's health notes should be something every family can afford.
Questions, answered
How does Calmemo protect my child's health data?
Your journal is encrypted and kept in the country you select when you start: Canada uses Montreal, and the United States uses Northern Virginia. AI processing stays in that same country. We do not ask for an email or password, sell your data, or use it to train AI. Telegram gives Calmemo a chat identifier; WhatsApp gives Calmemo your phone number, which we encrypt as a separate delivery endpoint and keep out of journal records.
Is Calmemo medical advice?
No. Calmemo is a journal, not a medical device. It helps you organize your own observations so your conversations with your pediatrician are more productive. Always follow your doctor for medical decisions.
What does it cost?
Your first 2 months are free. After that, Calmemo is CA$5 a month in Canada or US$5 a month in the United States, plus applicable taxes, for your whole household — one low price for the family, not per child or caregiver. Any tax we are required to collect is calculated and added at checkout. We keep the price deliberately affordable so cost is never the reason a family stops keeping their notes. We plan to add an optional contribution for families who want to help keep the price low for others; it is not available yet. We always show the total and ask before any charge, and you can leave or delete your data anytime.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You don't need a payment card to start. Before paid membership begins, we'll show the price and ask whether you want to continue.
Are there limits during the free period?
Yes — free accounts have gentle fair-use limits: a shared daily allowance of AI-assisted entries and summaries across your whole household, plus a maximum length for each voice note. Day-to-day logging for one family fits comfortably within them. There is no enrollment waitlist or household admission cap.
Why use a messaging app instead of a dedicated app?
Because Telegram and WhatsApp are familiar across phones and computers. There is no separate Calmemo app or password to learn — choose a supported messenger and start typing. Each messaging provider carries messages under its own privacy terms.
Do I need to install anything?
You need Telegram or WhatsApp. There is no separate Calmemo app — you message Chester like you would message a familiar contact. On WhatsApp, shared household summaries open on Calmemo's secure website after a one-time-code check.
How do I delete my data?
Just tell Chester "delete my data," then confirm. You can remove yourself as a caregiver or delete your live account data. Encrypted disaster-recovery copies age out on a limited schedule — see the data page.
